Update: Watch the “How You Like That” music video now.
The Kpop group has been dominating social media, YouTube, and other digital platforms with their “How You Like That” campaign. This morning, they unveiled their “How You Like That” D-Day poster. They have also scheduled a live global press conference at 2 PM Korea Time (1 PM Philippine Time).
“How You Like That” is the highly anticipated comeback track from the Kpop group, which consists of Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa. It is the first single from their upcoming album that will be released in September. Apart from releasing the song and music video, BLACKPINK will also guest on the June 26 episode of NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” to perform “How You Like That” for the first time.
D-Day is here
BLACKPINK will actually be making their first appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”. They have previously performed on the shows of James Corden and Stephen Colbert, and on “Good Morning America”.
“How You Like That” is the first part of BLACKPINK’s three-step comeback. This will be followed by a second new song in July or August, before culminating with the launch of the new album in September.
BLACKPINK is the highest-charting female Kpop act on the Billboard Hot 100. This was for “Sour Candy,” their collaboration with Lady Gaga. This song also helped them make history on Billboard’s On-Demand Streaming Songs chart.
The quartet has also made history as the first Kpop girl group to perform at Coachella in the music festival’s 20-year history.
Oh, and are you wondering why BLACKPINK fans are called Blinks? Blink is a portmanteau of the words “black” and “pink”. It’s the official name of their fandom.
So, fellow Blinks, are you ready to like “How You Like That”? It’s just a few hours away!
