Legion Phone Duel: Lenovo enters mobile gaming arena

The Legion Phone Duel features a unique Dual Technology Architecture.

Lenovo Philippines has fired its opening salvo in the mobile gaming phone wars with the launch of its much-anticipated gaming flagship smartphone, the Lenovo Legion Phone Duel.

The Legion Phone Duel features a unique Dual Technology Architecture that redefines the mobile gaming experience by unleashing the full potential of hardware and software. In the fast-growing mobile esports arena, the top athletes demand great thermal management, long battery life, customized controls, and livestreaming capabilities to demonstrate their skills on the global stage. Lenovo designed the Legion Phone Duel with these needs in mind, while being battle-ready for the future of 5G and cloud gaming.

Made for gamers

“A ‘gamers-first’ mindset is baked into Lenovo Legion’s DNA. We made sure our maiden gaming smartphone offering is of flagship quality, with topnotch internals and innovative features, to give our customers the best bang for their buck. As we explore new form factors in our journey to delivering smarter technology for all, Filipino gamers can trust that Lenovo will continue to support new applications and bring them new experiences that will help them get ahead of the game now and in the future,” said Lenovo Philippines President and General Manager Michael Ngan in a press statement.

Lenovo is among the first to feature the next-level flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus Mobile Platform that delivers revved-up performance across the board for incredibly fast Qualcomm Snapdragon Elite Gaming, plus 5G support in selected markets.

The Legion Phone Duel also has a specially customized interface that maximizes the landscape orientation of the phone. This means you hardly need to use the portrait mode, so you won’t get distracted from your gameplay.

Legion Realm is the phone’s central dashboard where gamers can tweak hardware performance settings, scroll through your downloaded games, and select the enabled network that gives you the best connectivity in that moment — WLAN, 5G, or Wi-Fi 6.

With the Lenovo Legion Phone Duel, as soon your gaming session ends, you can review all the gaming highlights via a preview screen. Then, you can select and merge recorded clips together before sharing with your teammates.

The Lenovo Legion Phone Duel in Blazing Blue (12GB / 256GB) and Vengeance Red (16GB / 512GB) will be available at authorized Lenovo resellers in the Philippines starting Nov. 1.
