Converge ICT Solutions, Inc. has recently deployed 34 broadband remote access server systems throughout Luzon. The pure fiber company said these systems will help enhance the internet experience of customers by increasing reliability and decreasing latency.

“Now, more than ever, we realize that we have to be creative in ensuring that we provide the best possible service. Our subscriber base has grown exponentially, so we knew we had to look for more ways to give them the kind of internet that they need,” said Converge ICT Chief Operations Officer Jesus Romero in a press statement.

Minimizing downtimes

The broadband remote access server systems are deployed in a geographically distributed architecture which will avoid a single point of failure.

In addition, maintenance and optimization can be done more efficiently. Downtimes, for example, are minimized to a certain area and repair is focused on the affected broadband remote access server system which serves a particular cluster. This ensures that Converge ICT customers will enjoy better uptime, reliability and stability.

The broadband remote access server system also helps to enforce quality of service policies based on the requirement of customers. It also gives a single point for change control, resulting in faster provisioning and upgrades as required by customers.

“Aside from delivering better services to our subscribers, the deployment of these broadband remote access server systems allows us more flexibility in terms of scalability. Even as we expand, our customers are assured of the quality of service that we can provide and even improves our response time if repair and maintenance are required. We made a promise to give the best possible experience and people need that, especially at this time,” Romero said.

Previously, Converge ICT’s data transport aggregates only in Clark (for all users in Central and North Luzon) and Pasig (for all users in the National Capital Region and South Luzon). With this enhancement, users are geographically clustered per distributed broadband remote access server system. As this shortens the journey, Converge ICT is able to provide an improved experience through faster connections.
