Tears of Themis romance detective game now available

Tears of Themis, the highly anticipated first romance detective mobile game from Genshin Impact publisher miHoYo, is now available worldwide on the App Store and Google Play. In this free-to-play game, you take on the role of a rookie attorney solving bizarre cases in Stellis City while cultivating romantic relationships with four distinctive male protagonists with complex personalities.

These four male leads are the private detective Luke Pearce, top attorney Artem Wing, psychiatrist Vyn Richter, and corporate successor Marius von Hagen. For the Japanese dub, Shanghai-based miHoYo tapped renowned Japanese voice actors Yuki Kaji (Eren Jaeger in “Attack on Titan” and Shoto Todoroki in “My Hero Academia”) as Pearce, Junichi Suwabe (Victor Nikiforov in “Yuri!!! on ICE” and Shōta Aizawa/Eraser Head in “My Hero Academia”) as Wing, Jun Fukuyama (Lelouch vi Britannia in “Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion” and Koro-sensei in “Assassination Classroom”) as Richter, and Kaito Ishikawa (Tobio Kageyama in “Haikyuu!!” and Genos in “One-Punch Man”) as Von Hagen.

Stellis City awaits

The story of Tears of Themis unfolds as players investigate a series of crimes in the fictitious city of Stellis. Players kick off their legal career at Themis Law Firm with the determination to uphold peace and justice, only to find themselves sinking deeper and deeper into a massive conspiracy lurking behind the scenes.

As cases close and issues resolve, a sinister force that threatens justice and order slowly begins to surface. When the darkness hidden beneath the tranquil city finally unveils itself, one must choose carefully and stay true to their values and beliefs.

While solving dilemmas of justice and crime, players can hone their sleuthing skills through detective game play. There are multiple objectives when conducting investigations, such as collecting and examining clues at the crime scene, and gathering key phrases and points of suspicion from non-player characters involved in the case. After comparing and analyzing obtained evidence, the final battle awaits: players will present evidence to the court to support their arguments. Leverage irrefutable logic to defeat the prosecution and ultimately celebrate victory and uphold justice.
