Netflix has confirmed production for the original drama series “D.P.” (Deserter Pursuit) in collaboration with director Han Jun-hee. “D.P.” is based on the Korean webtoon D.P Dog Day by Kim Bo-tong.

The Korean webtoon tells the story of a South Korean Army private assigned to a unit responsible for arresting deserters. In his job, he encounters confused young adults.

It shows the perspective of a soldier tasked with pursuing other soldiers. But it also balances this out by portraying the pains and struggles of those who choose to desert.
