All good things must come to an end, even when it’s a comic book series as popular as Red Sonja & Vampirella Meet Betty & Veronica.

As you might expect from the penultimate issue, this comic book features a lot — and I mean a lot — of action. Spoilers ahead.

In fact, this crossover between our favorite She-Devil and vampiress from Dynamite Entertainment with Archie Comics‘ Betty and Veronica was originally just supposed to be a six-issue series. But the two comic book publishers decided to extend the series after seeing the sales numbers.

This issue takes place on Vampirella‘s home planet of Drakulon, where all hell has broken loose. Thanks to the return of Jack Pulaski.

Jack is back, and he’s out for revenge. Unfortunately for our not-so-merry band of adventurers, Jack is not only alive, but also has gotten an upgrade.

Draculina: Vudosol, I killed him back on Earth… I know it.

Vudosol: Apparently not enough, my dear Draculina.

It’s bad enough that Jack has turned into an unstoppable, Terminator-like cyborg. But he also has an army of robots at his command.

With Jack hellbent on destroying Drakulon, Draculina asks her sister Vampirella to help her stop him.

Vampirella: Help me get everyone out of your pit first, and then I will join you.

Draculina: Sigh. Why do you have a soft spot for humans? They are food. No more.

Meanwhile, the food, er, humans must now try to find a way to get back to Riverdale. Thankfully, Dilton is with them.

The sisters lead the Vampiri against Jack Pulaski. But he is too powerful.

Thankfully, however, while Jack has an army, Vampirella has a She-Devil.

Unfortunately, this issue still ends tragically. And now we must wait.
