Park Seo Joon to appear in ‘Record of Youth’
Remember when Park Bo Gum made a cameo in “Itaewon Class”? Well, now “Itaewon Class” star Park Seo Joon seems to be returning the favor, as he is set to make an appearance in Park Bo Gum’s “Record of Youth”.
According to Cosmopolitan Philippines, Park Seo Joon will be a special guest in a future episode of “Record of Youth”, which is streaming on Netflix.
Park Seo Joon’s role
Apart from Park Bo Gum, the K-drama stars Park So Dam (“Parasite”) and Byeon Woo Seok (“Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency”).
Park Seo Joon has reportedly finished filming his scenes. It is not clear yet what role he will play in his guest appearance. Cosmopolitan Philippines, however, made this interesting speculation.
“Record Of Youth tells the story of model Sa Hye Jun (Park Bo Gum) whose big dream is to become an actor. So many things aren’t working out for him — his unsupportive family, industry people who take advantage of him, and his looming military enlistment — but he still keeps his head held high and does whatever he can to make ends meet. Since the show is all about the entertainment industry, maybe Seo Joon could even play himself in the drama?! Stay tuned for updates!”
In its review of Episode 1 of “Record of Youth,” Hallyudorama said it shows a different Bo Gum.
“Unlike his almost too good to be true characters in the past, Sa Hye-jun is a bit of a rebel. He’s an accurate depiction of a headstrong youth who chases his dream despite numerous failures.”
“Record of Youth” also boasts an impressive original soundtrack.
It includes “Go” by Seungkwan of SEVENTEEN and “You’re in My Soul” by CHUNG HA.
