Wheein unveils “Shine On You” for ‘Record of Youth’ OST

MAMAMOO vocalist Wheein is trending on Twitter after the release of her song “Shine On You” for the “Record of Youth” original soundtrack (OST).

One thing you really have to admire about tvN’s ongoing K-drama starring Park Bo Gum, Park So Dam, and Byeon Woo Seok is the amazing OST. Now it has an excellent addition from Wheein. The hashtag #Wheein_RecordOfYouth started trending on Twitter after the song and music video became available on YouTube, Spotify, and other digital platforms.

OST Queen

Dubbed as the OST Queen by her fans, Wheein also has songs in the OSTs of two other K-dramas. These are “Shadow” on the “Yellow” OST, and “With My Tear” on the “Hospital Playlist” OST.

“Record of Youth” comes out every Monday and Tuesday on tvN and Netflix. Park Bo Gum plays the model Sa Hye Jun, who comes from a poor family that doesn’t support his dream of becoming an actor. Ahn Jeong Ha, played by Park So Dam, is a makeup artist who happens to be a fan of Hye Jun. Meanwhile, Byeon Woo Seok is Hye Jun’s friend and fellow model Won Hae Hyo, While the two have been friends since childhood, Hye Jun and Hae Hyo are also rivals dreaming of making it big as actors.

The K-drama chronicles the lives of these three young people as they make their way in the fashion and entertainment industry. It also promises to take an unflinching look at the ugly truths hidden beneath the glamorous exterior.

The impressive “Record of Youth” OST also includes “Go” by Seungkwan of SEVENTEEN and “You’re in My Soul” by CHUNG HA.

As previously reported, “Itaewon Class” star Park Seo Joon will appear in “Record of Youth”. K-drama fans will recall that Park Bo Gum made a cameo in “Itaewon Class”.
