Unlike the blurred photo in the “COMING SOON” teaser poster, Lisa is now shown in her full glory. According to the poster, “LALISA” will be released at 1 PM KST on Sept. 10.

Lisa, who is the maknae or youngest member of BLACKPINK, is one of the most popular K-pop idols in the world. In fact, on Aug. 21 her official YouTube channel Lilifilm Official hit eight million subscribers, extending her lead as the most-subscribed K-pop female solo individual artist on the platform.

Lisa’s birth name is actually Pranpriya, but she changed it to Lalisa after a fortune teller told her it would bring her prosperity. She was born on March 27, 1997 in Buriram Province, Thailand, and was raised by her Thai mother and Swiss stepfather.

At age 14, Lisa moved to South Korea after beating 3,999 other applicants when YG Entertainment held its first ever audition in Thailand, becoming the agency’s first non-Korean trainee. She became YG Entertainment’s first non-Korean K-pop idol when BLACKPINK debuted on Aug. 8, 2016.

Lisa’s popularity makes her one of the most sought-after endorsers around the world.

She recently took part in Magnifica, the new brand campaign of Bvlgari, of which she is a global brand ambassador. She is also a global brand ambassador of CELINE and MAC Cosmetics.
