The program will also make use of cinemagraphs. These are hybrid video clips created from still pictures. Most of the still picture is kept stationary while a section moves in a continuous loop.
In addition, “Cosplay JAPAN” will feature the latest merchandise related to cosplayers, makeup, cosplay spots, and so on in a ranking format.
The first episode of “Cosplay JAPAN” aired on Oct. 7, with Fire General Rosiel as the first guest. In addition to being a cosplayer, Rosiel is also active as a gravure idol, model, and DJ. She has more than 250,000 followers on Twitter.
The program introduced Akihabara’s maid cafe “Cat Ear Maid Shop” produced by Rosiel herself. The first episode also introduced cosplay goods for Halloween.
