BLACKPINK main dancer Lisa Manoban has made a triumphant return as Dance Mentor Lisa in the iQIYI original series “Youth With You” Season 3.
While the first episode of the Chinese idol survival program’s third season will premiere on Feb. 18, iQIYI, the Chinese streaming service owned by Baidu, today launched a special preview episode at 8 PM Philippine Standard Time. “Youth With You” Season 3 features male trainees, who started cheering wildly when Mentor Lisa was introduced. While not physically present, Lisa joined via video and gave two amazing dance performances that highlighted her duality. First, she danced to Kun’s “Lover” and showcased her feminine and sexy side. Then she gave a fun and TikTok-friendly performance of Justin Bieber’s “Intentions”. By the way, some trainees cried while Lisa was performing. Yes, she really loves making boys cry.

I love BLACKPINK and Lisa is my bias. It was Lisa who put iQIYI on my radar when she joined “Youth With You” as dance mentor last year during its second season.
It’s the great content, however, that made me stay on iQIYI and become a VIP subscriber. iQIYI is a treasure trove of Korean and Chinese dramas, movies, variety shows, and anime, and it’s one of the streaming sites I make it a point to subscribe to, along with Netflix and Disney+.
Mentor Lisa, however, has definitely helped attract a bigger international audience for “Youth With You”. You only need to look at the YouTube comments and Twitter Trending Topics to see how many international fans are excited to watch this show because of their love for Lisa and BLACKPINK. I love seeing the community of my fellow BLINKS, such as @BLACKPINK_PH, showing full support for every project of Lisa and BLACKPINK members Jisoo, Jennie, and Rosé. And of course my fellow Lilies such as @TeamLisaPH.
It’s also great to see the world becoming more aware of Chinese pop music and getting introduced to the music of her fellow mentors, including Ronghao Li, who is this season’s vocal mentor, and rap mentor Will Pan.
“Youth With You” Season 2 helped make Lisa even more popular in China, to the point where Lisa’s Weibo fans increased by 7.47 million and several Chinese brands tapped her as their endorser.
In turn, Mentor Lisa is bringing “Youth With You” to the world.
“Youth With You” Season 3 has already made its mark. And to think Episode 1 hasn’t even aired yet!
