If you love streaming but find it hard to decide what to watch, stop scrolling and just let Netflix Play Something for you.
That’s what Netflix Director of Product Innovation Cameron Johnson wants you to do, as he announced the launch of the streaming giant’s new Play Something feature in a blog post. Just hit the button, and Netflix will instantly take you to a series or film it knows you’ll love based on what you’ve previously watched.

But why would you want something like Play Something?
Here’s what Johnson had to say in his blog post.
“There are times when we just don’t want to make decisions. A Friday evening after a long work week. A fridge full of food but nothing jumps out. A family movie night where no one can agree. We’ve all been there.
“Sometimes you just want to open Netflix and dive right into a new story. That’s why we’ve created Play Something, an exciting new way to kick back and watch.”
To make sure you’ll always be able to Play Something, you can find it in multiple ways on your TV: underneath your profile name, in the tenth row on your Netflix homepage, and in the navigation menu on the left of the screen.
With Netflix investing a lot in a wide variety of original content, including anime, Korean content, and Indian content, introducing this new feature is probably for the best because it’s getting harder and harder to choose.
