Barber services and more offered on demand by MyKuya
Recognizing the needs of Filipinos in the new normal, on-demand service provider MyKuya has introduced new and unique offerings, including barber services in partnership with Felipe and Sons.
MyKuya users can now hire a personal barber through the MyKuya app to give them a haircut or shave in the comfort of their own home or office. They can also request the barber to give them a quick shoulder and head massage as part of the service. The MyKuya partner barbers will wear their set of personal protective equipment and bring their own sanitized equipment.
Barber services and more
”Our goal from the very start has always been to help Filipinos with their errands and other needs. With the pandemic still keeping people from doing what they need to do outside, we’re happy to be of help to them in any way we can,” said MyKuya Founder Shahab Shabibi in a press statement.
The partnership is beneficial to both MyKuya and Felipe and Sons. MyKuya is able to help its users get professionally-done haircuts without leaving their homes. Meanwhile, Felipe and Sons is able to leverage technology to reach more customers and track its barbers.
Apart from the barber services, MyKuya has expanded its existing roster of on-demand offerings in the midst of the pandemic. This shows that its business is pandemic- and lockdown-proof.
As more Filipinos go back to their offices, MyKuya will offer office assistant services. The company will lend a helping hand to workers in charge of doing physical menial tasks. This way, they can spend more time doing high-level work.
Additionally, MyKuya will provide L300 van services to respond to growing demand from their customers, especially business owners whose operations are flourishing amid the pandemic. As more small businesses seek careful and trustworthy couriers, MyKuya is ready to meet their delivery needs.
MotoToday and BizHelper
The company has additionally rolled out assistant services specific for business owners, namely MotoToday and BizHelper. Many individuals today have turned to selling goods online to gain income during this difficult time. Through the two services, business owners can save time and costs when it comes to booking delivery services. Entrepreneurs will no longer have to extend their business hours or make numerous bookings just to fulfill orders.
Apart from the additional services, MyKuya is expanding its business to cities outside Metro Manila. These include Damariñas, Bacoor, and General Trias in Cavite; Lucena City in Quezon province; and Santa Rosa City in Laguna. It is also working on bringing its services available to cities in Zambales and Pangasinan.
In all these efforts, MyKuya is not only supporting its customers but also its partners. With its goal of providing one million job opportunities by 2022, MyKuya is continuously hiring Kuyas and Ates, especially those who were laid off during the pandemic. At the beginning of the lockdown period, MyKuya hired more than 7,000 new Kuyas and Ates. As the company expands to other cities, Filipinos in the provinces will be given more chances to work and earn for their families.
