Get ready to party, ARASHIANS! “Party Starters,” the latest single of the popular five-member Japanese boy band ARASHI, is finally here.

The official lyric video of “Party Starters” is already available on the official YouTube channel of ARASHI. You may also pre-save/pre-order the digital single on Spotify, Apple Music, and iTunes. “Party Starters” follows on the heels of ARASHI’s first all-English song, “Whenever You Call“, which Bruno Mars wrote and produced.

ARASHI on RADIO.COM

ARASHI (Japanese for “storm”) is composed of Aiba Masaki, Matsumoto Jun, Ninomiya Kazunari, Ōno Satoshi, and Sakurai Shō.

Officially formed on Sept. 15, 1999, in Honolulu, Hawaii, they released their debut CD on Nov. 3, 1999 with the single “Arashi’, which sold nearly a million copies.

The J-pop group will have a RADIO.COM LIVE Check In on Oct. 30 at 8:30 PM Eastern Time (Oct. 31 at 8:30 AM Philippine Standard Time).

“In 2007, when the band dropped their eighteenth single, ‘Love so Sweet’ that’s when Arashi began to experience major commercial success and a stan following.

“Now with K-Pop, J-Pop, and even P-Pop being a highly sought after genre of music, ARASHI can really let their music speak for itself.”

Incidentally, the P-pop (Pinoy pop) boy band SB19 also had a RADIO.COM LIVE Check In, which is why RADIO.COM is very familiar with P-pop.

The respective fandoms of SB19 (A’TIN) and ARASHI (ARASHIANS) also collaborated on streaming parties on YouTube on Oct. 17 and Spotify on Oct. 18. This remarkable collaboration aimed to put the spotlight on Asian pop music and introduce people to the songs of their respective idols.

ARASHI is Asia’s best-selling boy band, with over 54 million copies of albums, singles and videos sold as of last year. Apart from topping the charts and selling out concerts, they have hosted a number of variety shows and become one of the country’s top endorsers.
